In 2007, the Clever R-V family hosted the first ever
Shelby's Run. The granddaughter of
Assistant Superintendent
Kathy Grover, Shelby was diagnosed on March 8, 2006
with a rare,
inoperable, and ultimately incurable brain tumor: Glioblastoma Multiforme.
She
was a loving little girl who lived life to the fullest. Shelby passed away
on October 18,
2007.
Shelby's Run
was created in her memory, to help raise funds for St. Jude Children's Hospital,
who took such great care of Shelby.
