Available Position(s): 

FULL TIME EARLY CHILDHOOD PARAPROFESSIONAL

The Clever R-V School District is seeking a qualified candidate for a full time position of one-on-one Early Childhood Paraprofessional for the 2019-2020 school year. Requirements include 60 college credit hours or passing score on the Paraprofessional Praxis Assessment. Duties include, but are not limited to, assisting regular and/or special education teacher in classroom instruction and care of students, which may include hygiene or other duties; maintaining student confidentiality and understanding of student’s IEP; reading tests to students, assisting with note taking and making other accommodations as indicated on the IEP; assisting teacher in maintaining discipline by monitoring behavior of students, collecting data, and implementing behavior plans; collaborating and working effectively as a team member with peers, classroom teachers and administrators to support student/classroom learning and activities. It is preferred the applicant have the ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
