At its March meeting, the Clever Board of Education approved Mr. Bryce Wilson as the K-8 Assistant Principal for the 2025-26 school year. A Clever High School graduate, he is excited to return home and serve the district that helped shape his own educational journey. His experience in elementary education, leadership, and coaching makes him a valuable addition to the district's administrative team.
“I am incredibly excited to join the Clever School District to work alongside the amazing leadership, faculty, students, and community to continue to pursue excellence together,” said Mr. Wilson.
Mr. Wilson holds a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Literacy from Missouri State University, as well as a Master’s in Educational Leadership from Evangel University. His educational background, combined with hands-on classroom experience, positions him well to support the district’s mission of academic excellence and student success.
For the past six years, Mr. Wilson has served at Willard East Elementary, teaching both 4th and 2nd grade. Of those years, he dedicated five to teaching 4th grade and one year to teaching 2nd grade. In addition to his teaching responsibilities, Wilson has spent the last six years as an assistant baseball coach at Willard, further demonstrating his commitment to student growth both inside and outside the classroom.
Beyond his professional life, Mr. Wilson enjoys an active lifestyle with his wife, Mikayla, and their two children, Collins J (4) and Drew (2). The Wilson family enjoys outdoor activities and values time spent together.
The Clever School District is thrilled to welcome Mr. Wilson back to his hometown and looks forward to the positive impact he will have on students, staff, and the community.
