The 7th and 8th grade boys' basketball team claimed first place honors at this year's Marion C. Early tournament. The boys defeated Niangua 73-11, Fair Play 54-35, and MCE 40-23 on their way to the championship.
In girls' action, Clever earned a second place finish by defeating Dadeville 37-25 and Conway 50-33 before being tripped up by Walnut Grove in the finals.
