Sullivan receives award

Mr. Justin Sullian has been named the 2024 Southwest Middle School Principal of the Year by the Missouri Association of Secondary School Principals (MoASSP).

The award was presented to Mr. Sullivan in a surprise ceremony by the MoASSP President, Dr. Teresa McKenzie, in front of faculty, staff, and his family during a professional development meeting on September 9.

Mr. Sullivan tells us “I am deeply honored and grateful to be recognized as the MoASSP Middle School Principal of the Year. As I enter my 19th year in education, with previous experience as a middle school social studies teacher, coach, and athletic director in the western suburbs of Chicago, this award reflects the collective efforts of our amazing team and the support of our students and their families. My family and I moved to this area 10 years ago to be closer to loved ones, and we are proud to call Clever our home, enjoying the charm of this small-town community. Thank you for this incredible recognition!

The Missouri Association of Secondary School Principals Assistant Principal of the Year award recognizes high school and middle school assistant principals who provide high quality learning opportunities for students and make exemplary contributions to the profession. The Clever R-V School District proudly congratulates Mr. Sullivan on receiving this award!
